Guardian Angel Program

Sponsor a cat. By becoming a Guardian Angel, you can make a meaningful difference in the lives of cats in need – one special cat at a time! These cats deserve every opportunity for love, compassion and a forever home and your gift of support for the cats in our care will help to make that happen. All it takes is a monthly pledge of $25 per cat. Here’s how it works:

  • Review the adoptable animals
  • Select a cat to sponsor from cats waiting to be adopted or from our list of Purrmanent Whisker Residents, Special Needs cats or Senior cats
  • Decide how long you would like to sponsor: until the kitty gets adopted or 1, 3, 6, 9 or 12 months. (You can change this at any time.)
  • Your name and a picture of the cat you have sponsored will appear on our Facebook page
  • A tax receipt will be issued and we will notify you when the cat has been adopted
  • Looking for a unique gift for someone in your life? Sponsor one of our cats as a gift, and we will mail that person a letter and photo of the sponsored cat and send you a tax receipt!

Simply download the sponsorship form, fill it out and return it to Whisker Rescue along with your first months sponsorship of $25 or the full amount of your sponsorship!

Seniors for Seniors

Our senior cats are free to seniors looking for loving companionship, and they can be returned at any time for any reason. Whisker Rescue will cover any veterinary bills that arise and can also help supply food and litter IF needed. All you need to supply is a safe indoor home, and a warm lap to curl up in.

LAP Cat Donation (Lend A Paw by Sponsoring a Spay or Neuter)

Please help us control the stray cat population. Donate to this worthy program and help those who cannot afford the entire cost of altering their pets. For more information please contact us by email at whiskerrescue@live.com.

CALICO (Caring About Low Income Cat Owners)Subsidized Spay/Neuter Program

Helping to keep families together! This fund was created to help those who truly need assistance. Please download the form and apply for assistance. *Please note- due to rising vet costs applicants will be required to pay at least HALF of the spay/neuter. Costs are subject to change at any time.
